# ADHS - Advanced Defensive Handgun Shooting
Course Description:
This 8 hour program takes the student to an adversarial level. The "man-on-man" scenarios using Airsoft pistols are designed to be as realistic and dynamic as possible. Challenging the physical handgun skills as well as the mental preparation and determination to prevail in a violent confrontation.

Understanding the physiological and psychological responses experienced during violent encounters
Situational awareness (color code of awareness levels)
Conflict Management Communication
Having a "Warrior Mindset" to prevail (Turning Victims into Victors)

FITG Intermediate Defensive Handgun Shooting
Open to Pistol license holders only

Course Equipment Requirements:
This course utilizes special training equipment that will be provided for use during the course, and there will be no live shooting or ammunition used.
The student will need the following:

The student will need the following:
- Long pants with a trouser belt (no exceptions)
- Long sleeve shirt with collar (no exceptions)
- Eye protection (worn on the range at all times)
- Elbow and knee pads are recommended
- Shooting gloves are optional
- Notebook/notepad and pen/pencil
- Baseball cap or brimmed hat
- Sunscreen
- No sandals or open toe shoes allowed
- Bring lunch, snacks and beverage(s) for hydration
